First Fridays Plymouth

September 4 from 5 - 8 pm

Upper Court Street

Come hear the live music of Colette O'Connor in the courtyard of eKnits and Gifts and Bossy Beans Baby and Children’s Clothing Boutique (62-64 Court Street). Colette plays her guitar from 5 - 8, while you shop at eKnits and Gifts to find your favorite small batch fall scented candles or select from multiple styles of Gilmore Girl hats and sweatshirts (Hallowe’en already?!). You can also grab a signed novel from your soon-to-be favorite Plymouth author Pamela Kelley.

An added bonus: Ember Salon and Spa, eKnits and Gifts and Bossy Beans are close by The Artisan Pig and Ember Salon and across the street from Pilgrim Hall Museum and The Tasty, a neighborhood favorite for American comfort food.

You get to shop for special gifts for yourself and your bestie, hear live music, find a great place to book a spa treatment, eat great food and immerse yourself in Plymouth history all within a couple of blocks!

History & Museums

1809 Hedge House (126 Water Street) is located on one of the most scenic sites in Plymouth. Its beautiful lawn overlooks the harbor, and its authentic interiors and carriage barn bring to life how a well-to-do homeowner in 19th century Plymouth might have lived. Mini-tours are on from 5 - 8 on Friday, August 7. No charge, but donations are welcome!

Pilgrim Hall Museum: Plymouth Tapestry Night Learn about this epic embroidery project, being created by hand in Plymouth, that tells the story of Plymouth Colony. The evening includes an up-close look at a recently completed 6-foot panel illustrating the Mayflower voyage, as well as showings of mini-films about the project in the newly restored Steinway Library. From 6–7 p.m., meet project artist Elizabeth Creeden and members of her stitching team!
